Following a large scale and ultimately very well-received showing in Hong Kong as part of his “PassingThrough” exhibition, KAWS picks up where he left off with this preview into his forthcoming Galerie Emmanuel Perrotin exhibition. Set in Paris, the exhibition’s first piece sees a return of KAWS’ signature re-appropriation of pop culture and in this case, SpongeBob SquarePants.
